Description

William Shakespeare's Romeo+Juliet collects the music from Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film, moving between brooding alternative rock, downtempo atmosphere, and bright synth-pop and dance-floor euphoria. Garbage, Everclear, Gavin Friday, One Inch Punch, Des'ree, and Butthole Surfers perform across the set. Tracks such as "#1 Crush" and "Talk Show Host" sit at the darker, slower end, while "Lovefool" and "Everybody's Free (To Feel Good)" bring the set's sweeter, more elated side.
