Description

Minions: The Rise Of Gru assembles a soundtrack steeped in funk, disco, soul, and Latin-tinged pop, with horn-driven grooves and buoyant dancefloor energy running through much of the sequence. The release features Verdine White, Diana Ross, Tame Impala, Brittany Howard, St. Vincent, and Brockhampton. Selections such as "Funkytown," "Fly Like An Eagle," "Black Magic Woman," and "Cecilia" sit alongside mellower, string-softened moments and instrumental score material that closes the program.
