Description

Ultraviolence trades the string-laden sweep of Lana Del Rey's earlier work for a hazier, guitar-led sound built on reverb, slow tempos, and unhurried vocal phrasing. "West Coast" shifts gears mid-song between drifting verses and a dragging chorus, while "Shades Of Cool" and "Brooklyn Baby" lean into torch-song drama and dry wit in equal measure.
