Description

The Unforgettable Fire finds U2 trading directness for atmosphere, with echoing guitar textures, ambient washes and rhythms that build slowly rather than land immediately. Anthemic moments such as "Pride (In The Name Of Love)" and "Bad" sit alongside more impressionistic pieces like "Promenade" and "MLK", giving the album a spacious, cinematic shape.
