Description

The Smile Sessions gathers the Beach Boys' long-unreleased Smile material into a sequenced listen, moving from choral hush and vaudevillian humor to densely layered psychedelic pop and open-ended studio experiment. Harmony-rich pieces including "Heroes And Villains," "Surf's Up," and "Good Vibrations" sit beside fragments and session excerpts that show how the music was assembled piece by piece.
