Description

The Koln Concert captures Keith Jarrett alone at the piano, building long-form improvisations that unfold from simple repeated figures into passages of rippling melody, gospel-tinged warmth, and quiet reflection. Recorded live, the music moves in extended sections rather than conventional tunes, rewarding listeners willing to follow an idea as it develops over many minutes.
