Description

The Berlin Recital captures Yuja Wang in concert at the Philharmonie Berlin in 2018, moving between compact Rachmaninov preludes and études-tableaux and the more volatile terrain of Scriabin's Piano Sonata No. 10. The program balances darkly weighted, march-like writing against passages of shimmering, trill-laden light, with the immediacy of a live audience audible throughout.
