Description

Songs From The Big Chair pairs widescreen synth-pop production with the emotional directness that runs through Tears For Fears' writing, moving from the pounding drums of "Shout" to the bright, rolling guitar figure of "Everybody Wants To Rule The World." Elsewhere the record stretches out, with the saxophone-led sweep of "The Working Hour" and the layered build of "Head Over Heels."
