Mazzy Star

She Hangs Brightly LP

Sorry Sold Out

Description

She Hangs Brightly introduces the hushed, narcotic dream pop that Mazzy Star built from Hope Sandoval's murmured vocals and David Roback's slide guitar and organ-tinged arrangements. Tracks such as "Halah" and "Blue Flower" drift between folk-blues melancholy and shoegaze haze, with tempos left deliberately unhurried and reverb doing much of the emotional work. A colored-vinyl Record Store Day Essentials pressing.
