Description

Rated R is Queens Of The Stone Age's 2000 second album, expanding Josh Homme's desert-rock foundation into a more varied and dangerous alternative-rock statement. The record includes "The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret," "Feel Good Hit of the Summer," and "Better Living Through Chemistry," balancing heavy riffs, dark humor, and unexpected melodic turns. Its range helped establish the band beyond the stoner-rock underground.
