Description

Quadrophenia unfolds as a double-length rock opera, tracing a young mod adrift in early-1960s Britain across seventeen songs of surging drums, layered synthesizers, horns and stormy sea sounds. The writing swings between taut, punchy rock in "The Real Me" and "5:15" and widescreen, orchestral catharsis in "Love Reign O'er Me." Originally released in 1973.
