Description

Perfect Strangers marks the mid-1980s reunion of Deep Purple's Mark II lineup, and it leans hard into the sound that made them: heavy riffing, swirling Hammond organ, and Ian Gillan's high, cutting vocal delivery. Tracks such as "Knocking At Your Back Door," the brooding title cut, and the slow-burning "Wasted Sunsets" balance arena-scaled hard rock with moodier, more deliberate pacing. Remastered, with the bonus instrumental "Son Of Alerik."
