Pärt: And I Heard a Voice… LP

Description

Pärt: And I Heard a Voice… gathers choral settings by Arvo Pärt in performances by Vox Clamantis, whose unhurried lines and clear ensemble blend suit the composer's spare, bell-like writing. The program moves through liturgical and devotional texts, from "Nunc Dimittis" to "Kleine Litanei," holding to a quiet, resonant register throughout rather than reaching for drama.
