Description

Offramp balances the Pat Metheny Group's airy melodic lyricism with a taste for texture and abstraction, moving from restless opening atmospherics into long-lined, wide-open themes. "Are You Going With Me?" stretches a patient groove beneath soaring, synthesizer-toned guitar lines, while "James" and "Au Lait" settle into warm harmony and unhurried tempos.
