Description

My One And Only Thrill gathers Melody Gardot's hushed vocal jazz in a setting of brushed drums, warm upright bass, and lightly orchestrated strings. Songs such as "Baby I'm A Fool," "Your Heart Is As Black As Night," and "Our Love Is Easy" move between torch-song intimacy and a cooler, bossa-tinged lilt, with her phrasing kept close to the microphone throughout.
