Description

Mescalito is Ryan Bingham's 2007 major-label debut, introducing the singer-songwriter's weathered voice and dusty blend of Americana, country, blues, and roots rock. Produced by Marc Ford, the album emphasizes road-worn storytelling, slide-guitar textures, and the wide-open feel of Southwestern landscapes. Songs such as "Southside of Heaven," "Bread and Water," and "Sunrise" helped establish Bingham's gravelly style.
