Description

Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness spreads the Smashing Pumpkins across two discs of wide-ranging alternative rock, moving from string-laden balladry to distorted, high-volume guitar workouts. "Tonight, Tonight," "Bullet With Butterfly Wings," "1979," and "Zero" sit alongside quieter, more ornate material such as "Cupid De Locke" and "Stumbleine," giving the sequence its restless push and pull.
