Description

Mcmxc A.D. moves through slow, atmospheric electronic pieces built from whispered spoken word, chant-like choral textures, and deep, unhurried beats. Tracks such as "The Voice Of Enigma," "Mea Culpa," and "Knocking On Forbidden Doors" flow into one another as a continuous suite rather than standing apart as separate songs, giving the album a ritual, dimly lit quality.
