Description

Making Mirrors is Gotye's 2011 album, an art-pop and indie-pop release that became a global breakthrough through "Somebody That I Used To Know" featuring Kimbra. The record ranges from sample-based pop and electronic textures to soul, rock, and intimate songwriting, showcasing Wally De Backer's production detail and genre flexibility. Its unexpected crossover success made the album one of the defining alternative-pop stories of the early 2010s.
