Description

Lungs introduces Florence + The Machine's blend of baroque pop grandeur, indie rock urgency and Florence Welch's full-throated, room-filling vocals. Harp, pounding drums and choral layers drive the record such as "Dog Days Are Over," "Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)" and "Cosmic Love," while quieter moments lean toward darker, folk-tinged storytelling.
