Description

Asylum by KISS arrived in 1985 as the band’s 13th studio album and its second full-length of the non-makeup era. It also marked Bruce Kulick’s first studio album as KISS’ lead guitarist, settling the lineup that would carry the band through the second half of the decade.

“Tears Are Falling” anchors the record with one of Paul Stanley’s sharpest ’80s hooks, while “Who Wants to Be Lonely” leans into the sleek, video-era side of the band’s hard rock sound. “King of the Mountain” opens the album with a tougher, drum-driven charge, and “Uh! All Night” closes it with a blunt singalong built for the stage. Available here on vinyl.
