Description

The Koln Concert captures Keith Jarrett alone at the piano, drawing long-form improvisation out of simple melodic cells and rolling, hypnotic left-hand figures. Recorded live in Köln, Germany on January 24, 1975, the performance unfolds across extended movements that move between gospel-tinged warmth, restless motion, and passages of quiet reflection.
