Idle Moments LP

Description

Idle Moments finds Grant Green in a spacious, unhurried mood, his single-note guitar lines unspooling across slow-burning hard bop and modal territory. The title piece unfolds patiently, while "Jean De Fleur" and "Nomad" bring brighter, more briskly swinging playing and "Django" turns darker and more reflective. Part of Blue Note's Classic Vinyl series.
