Description

Hollywood Town Hall is The Jayhawks' 1992 album and a key release in the development of 1990s alternative country. The record pairs Gary Louris and Mark Olson's harmonies with ringing guitars, roots-rock texture, and a melodic sensibility that helped bring the Minneapolis band to a wider audience. Songs such as "Waiting for the Sun," "Take Me With You," and "Settled Down Like Rain" remain central to the album's reputation.
