Greatest Hits: 1985–1995 by Heart is a 2000 compilation that rounds up the band’s Capitol years, arriving as a companion to the earlier Greatest Hits (1976–1983) set. It traces the stretch when Heart retooled their sound for arena-ready pop rock and stacked a long run of radio hits across the second half of the 1980s and early 1990s.

“What About Love,” “Never,” and “These Dreams” capture that shift in full, balancing big choruses with the Wilson sisters’ punch and precision, while “Alone” remains one of the defining power ballads from the period. The set also folds in the Robin Zander duet “Surrender to Me” and the previously unreleased studio version of “You’re the Voice,” all collected here on CD.
