Description

A comprehensive survey of Glenn Frey's work away from the Eagles, presented across three CDs and a DVD.

The first disc collects the solo highlights: "The Heat Is On," "You Belong To The City," "Smuggler's Blues," "The One You Love," "Sexy Girl" and "Part Of Me, Part Of You," the run of hits and soundtrack songs that made Frey a considerable star in his own right through the 1980s. The second disc goes deeper into the solo catalogue, gathering album tracks, standards and less familiar material including "Caroline, No," "Route 66" and "The Shadow Of Your Smile."

The third disc is a real find: the self-titled 1969 album by Longbranch/Pennywhistle, the duo Frey formed with J.D. Souther before either man was famous, newly remixed at Eyeball Studios in 2017.

The DVD presents Strange Weather: Live In Dublin, the full concert recorded at The National Stadium in Dublin on September 15, 1992, running seventeen songs and mixing solo material with Eagles favorites including "Desperado," "New Kid In Town" and "Peaceful Easy Feeling.”
