Description

Gish captures the Smashing Pumpkins at their heaviest and most psychedelic, stacking dense guitar layers over grooves that lean closer to hard rock than the grunge territory around them. "I Am One," "Siva," and "Rhinoceros" move between churning riffs and drifting, dreamlike passages, while quieter turns such as "Crush" and "Daydream" ease the attack. This is the 2011 remaster.
