Description

Gish introduces the Smashing Pumpkins in their earliest form, pairing dense layers of psychedelic guitar with sudden shifts between hushed passages and heavy, churning momentum. Tracks such as "I Am One," "Siva," and "Rhinoceros" move between hard-edged riffing and dreamlike drift, while "Crush" and "Daydream" lean toward quieter textures. Originally released in 1991 as the band's first album. This is the 2011 remaster.
