Description

Earfood presents Roy Hargrove in a hard-swinging post-bop setting, balancing bright, lyrical trumpet lines with ballads that lean on tone and space rather than speed. The program moves between brisk, riff-driven pieces such as "Strasbourg / St. Denis" and slower, soul-tinged material like "Starmaker," giving the album the relaxed pacing of a live club set.
