Description

Dummy pairs smoky, torch-song vocals with crackling breakbeats, dub-weighted bass, and film-noir keyboard atmospheres. "Sour Times," "Roads," and "Glory Box" move between downcast balladry and slow, hip-hop-informed grooves, with sampled fragments, including Isaac Hayes' "Ike's Rap III," woven into the arrangements. Originally issued in 1994. Pressed on black vinyl.
