Description

Crimes of Passion, originally released in 1980, pairs Pat Benatar's powerhouse vocals with hard rock guitar attack and pop-rock hooks, moving from the swagger of "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and "Treat Me Right" to the darker weight of "Hell Is For Children" and a hard-rock reading of Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights." The album combines arena-scaled riffs and big melodic choruses delivered with grit.
