Description

Cornerstone finds Styx balancing arena-rock momentum with ballads and theatrical pop craft, moving from the sweeping "Babe" to the acoustic-leaning "Boat On The River" and the driving "Borrowed Time." The album sits at the melodic, keyboard-rich end of American rock, with layered harmonies, polished guitar work and a strong sense of studio detail.
