Description

Christ Illusion is Slayer's 2006 album and the first studio record with drummer Dave Lombardo back in the lineup since Seasons in the Abyss. The album restores the band's classic personnel while delivering aggressive thrash metal built around speed, dark themes, and tightly wound riffs. Tracks such as "Cult," "Eyes of the Insane," and "Jihad" helped define the release.
