Description

Chant - Music For The Soul presents the Cistercian Monks of Stift Heiligenkreuz in unaccompanied Latin plainchant, with male voices moving in long, unhurried lines that emphasize clarity over display. The program draws on liturgical sequences including a Requiem and the night prayer of Compline, framed by the ringing of the abbey bells.
