Description

Changing Places gathers the hushed, slow-burning piano-trio music Tord Gustavsen recorded for ECM in 2001 and 2002, built on hymn-like melody, brushed restraint, and the space left between the notes. Themes including "Graceful Touch" and "Song Of Yearning" return in varied and solo form across the sequence, giving the set a quietly circular shape.
