Description

Ceremonials pairs Florence Welch's soaring, hymn-like delivery with dense, cathedral-scale arrangements built on pounding drums, harp figures and gospel-tinged backing vocals. Songs such as "Shake It Out," "No Light, No Light" and "Never Let Me Go" swing between euphoric uplift and darker, more haunted undercurrents, with the sequencing holding the drama at a near-constant pitch.
