Description

Building The Perfect Beast is Don Henley's second solo studio album and a major 1980s breakthrough outside the Eagles. Released in 1984 by Geffen, the album pairs Henley's sharp lyrical perspective with electronic rock, pop-rock, and adult-contemporary production shaped by collaborators such as Danny Kortchmar, Mike Campbell, and Greg Ladanyi. "The Boys of Summer," "All She Wants to Do Is Dance," "Not Enough Love in the World," and "Sunset Grill" made the album a defining part of Henley's solo catalog.
