Description

Barnstorm is Joe Walsh's 1972 album, recorded after his first departure from James Gang and credited to the band name Barnstorm in some contexts. The record moves beyond hard-rock riffing into a looser mix of folk-rock, country textures, progressive touches, and Walsh's emerging solo identity. Its exploratory feel foreshadows the humor, guitar tone, and studio detail that would define his later work.
