Description

Barchords is the 2012 album by Bahamas, the recording project of Canadian songwriter and guitarist Afie Jurvanen. The record pairs understated vocals, warm guitar tones, and spare but soulful arrangements, leaning into folk-pop, indie rock, and relaxed groove without crowding the songs. Its intimate feel helped solidify Bahamas' identity as a subtle, melodic songwriter with a strong sense of space.
