Description

American Graffiti gathers period rock and doo-wop songs tied to George Lucas's nostalgic portrait of early-1960s cruising culture. The soundtrack's sequencing reflects the film's radio-driven atmosphere, mixing recognizable hits with Wolfman Jack interludes and a jukebox feel that helped define the movie's sense of time and place. This 2CD edition gives shoppers a broad physical collection of the music associated with the film, from early rock 'n' roll staples to harmony-group classics that evoke the era's teen-pop sound.
