Description

2001 is Dr. Dre's 1999 second studio album, released on Aftermath and Interscope after years of anticipation following The Chronic. The album refined West Coast rap's widescreen production language with crisp drums, cinematic keyboards, and a deep guest roster that included Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, and others. "Still D.R.E.," "Forgot About Dre," and "The Next Episode" became defining tracks from the era.
