Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s first-ever live album, Sinatra at the Sands, the 2LP set is now available in a special Vinylphyle Edition featuring new mixes by longtime Sinatra engineer Larry Walsh and high-end mastering by Joe Nino-Hernes at Sterling Sound. Added to its original gatefold packaging is an insert with additional photos from the Sands residency and new liner notes by Sinatra aficionado Charlie Pignone. Considered one of the best live albums of all time, with extraordinary concert versions of “Angel Eyes” and “Fly Me To the Moon” as well as unique stage patter from Blue Eyes, its special quality is heightened by the backing of Count Basie and His Orchestra conducted by a young Quincy Jones.

Each Vinylphyle release features all analog mastering from original sources by an elite group of today’s top vinyl cutting engineers (unless sequenced analog masters don’t exist). The LPs are pressed at the world-class audiophile vinyl record pressing plant RTI, on 180-gram black vinyl. The production and packaging seek to honor the stature of these recordings and include tip-on wrapped gatefold jackets in satin matte finish, printed on clay-coated board, with archival poly sleeves and a four-panel insert featuring new liner notes. Backed by RTI’s craftsmanship, these releases are produced at the highest levels and include extensive quality controls at every step of the process, from mastering to plating to pressing and printing, ensuring an exceptional final product.
