Mosquito by Yeah Yeah Yeahs is the New York trio’s fourth studio album, following 2009’s It’s Blitz! Working again with producer Dave Sitek, the band pulled their art-punk into stranger, murkier shapes while keeping Karen O’s voice at the center.

“Sacrilege” opens the record with gospel-choir drama, while “Despair” turns its melancholy into something more expansive and direct. “Buried Alive,” featuring Dr. Octagon, adds one of the album’s more unexpected left turns. This edition is available on vinyl.
