Limited-edition Translucent Orange 180-gram vinyl!

KISS rented out the Nanuet Star Theater in upstate New York to record their 1976 album, Rock and Roll Over. Two of the album's best tracks became hit singles -- the sleazy hard rocker "Calling Dr. Love" and an acoustic ballad that was originally intended for Rod Stewart, "Hard Luck Woman". But the lesser-known material is often just as strong -- "I Want You" and "Makin' Love" became concert staples over the years, while "Mr. Speed" is one of the most underrated songs in KISS's catalogue.

Getz / Gilberto (Limited Edition) LP

Regular price $18.98

Limited-edition orange 180-gram vinyl!

One of the biggest-selling jazz albums of all time, not to mention bossa nova's finest moment, 'Getz/Gilberto' brought two of bossa nova's greatest innovators -- guitarist/singer João Gilberto and composer/pianist Antonio Carlos Jobim -- to New York to record with Stan Getz. The results were magic. 'Getz/Gilberto' made bossa nova a permanent part of the jazz landscape not just with its unassailable beauty, but with one of the biggest smash hit singles in jazz history -- "The Girl From Ipanema," a Jobim classic sung by João's wife, Astrud Gilberto, who had never performed outside of her own home prior to the recording session. Beyond that, most of the Jobim songs recorded here also became standards of the genre -- "Corcovado" (which featured another vocal by Astrud), "So Danço Samba," "O Grande Amor," a new version of "Desafinado." With such uniformly brilliant material, it's no wonder the album was such a success but, even apart from that, the musicians all play with an effortless grace that's arguably the fullest expression of bossa nova's dreamy romanticism ever brought to American listeners. Getz himself has never been more lyrical, and Gilberto and Jobim pull off the harmonic and rhythmic sophistication of the songs with a warm, relaxed charm. This music has nearly universal appeal; it's one of those rare jazz records about which the purist elite and the buying public are in total agreement. Beyond essential. Limited edition metallic gold 180-gram 2LP vinyl!

On U2's 1987 album 'The Joshua Tree', the band shifted away from the ambient experimentation of their 1984 release 'The Unforgettable Fire' and applied a harder-hitting sound to tighter song structures. The album is influenced by American and Irish roots music, and through socio-politically conscious lyrics embellished with spiritual imagery. It features some of the band's biggest and most enduring hits, including "Where The Streets Have No Name" and "With or Without You.

Pinkerton (Limited Edition) LP

Regular price $29.98

Limited edition snowy white marbled 180-gram vinyl. Only 2500 copies available worldwide!

Vinyl LP pressing includes 12 x 12 insert. Pinkerton is the second studio album by band Weezer, released on September 24, 1996. After abandoning plans for a rock opera titled Songs from the Black Hole, Weezer recorded Pinkerton between songwriter Rivers Cuomo's terms at Harvard University, where he wrote much of the album. To better capture their live sound, Weezer produced Pinkerton themselves, creating a darker, more abrasive album than their 1994 self-titled debut. Cuomo's lyrics express disillusionment with the rock lifestyle; the album is named after the character BF Pinkerton from Giacomo Puccini's 1904 opera Madama Butterfly, whom Cuomo described as an "asshole American sailor similar to a touring rock star". Like the opera, the album contains references to Japanese culture.

Zooropa is the eighth studio album by U2. Produced by Flood, Brian Eno, and The Edge, it was released on 5 July 1993 on Island Records. Inspired by the band's experiences on the Zoo TV Tour, Zooropa expanded on many of the tour's themes of technology and media oversaturation. The record was a continuation of the group's experimentation with alternative rock, electronic dance music, and electronic sound effects that began with their previous album, Achtung Baby, in 1991.

Limited Edition turquoise 180-gram 2LP! The Velvet Underground's White Light/White Heat is one of the most confrontational and inspirational second albums ever made by a rock band. Recorded in a matter of days at the end of the summer of 1967, it is an album that reeks of the gritty NY street life and could only have been made in New York, by one band. And that group is the classic-quartet lineup of The Velvet Underground - singer-guitarist Lou Reed; bassist-organist and viola player John Cale; guitarist-bassist Sterling Morrison; and drummer Maureen Tucker. This 45th Anniversary Deluxe Vinyl Edition, features 13 tracks spread across 2LPs and features the original stereo release, completely remastered, with bonus tracks including alternate versions and unreleased outtakes. A Love Supreme

Limited-edition translucent 180-gram vinyl with black swirls. Audio taken from the 2015 Complete Masters edition.

Easily one of the most important records ever made, John Coltrane's a Love Supreme was his pinnacle studio outing that at once compiled all of his innovations from his past, spoke of his current deep spirituality, and also gave a glimpse into the next two and a half years (sadly, those would be his last). Recorded at the end of 1964, Trane's classic quartet of Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, and Jimmy Garrison stepped into the studio and created one of the most thought-provoking, concise, and technically pleasing albums of their bountiful relationship (not to mention his best-selling to date). from the flowing (and classic) bass line at the intro to the last breathy notes, Trane is at the peak of his logical yet emotionally varied soloing while the rest of the group is remarkably in tune with Coltrane's spiritual vibe. Composed of four parts, each has a thematic progression leading to an understanding of spirituality through meditation.

It became the best-selling album of 1987, beating out contenders like Appetite for Destruction, The Joshua Tree, and Michael Jackson's Bad. “It’s alright if you have a good time,” Jon Bon Jovi sang on the first track, “Let It Rock,” and those words served as a mantra for the entire hair metal genre, whose carefree, party-heavy attitude became the soundtrack for the rest of the 1980s.

Limited-edition Dark Purple 180-gram vinyl.

Megadeth's sophomore album cements their status as thrash-metal godfathers. 'Peace Sells' combines a punkish political awareness with a dark, threatening, heavy metal world-view, preoccupied with evil, the occult, and the like. The lines between hell and earth are blurred throughout the album, and the crashing, complex music backs up Dave Mustaine's apocalyptic vision of life as damnation -- his vocal style is used to great effect, growling and snarling under all the complicated guitar work. Audio from the 2011 remaster.
