Rubberneck is the debut studio album from Fort Worth rock band Toadies, recorded after the group signed with Interscope Records. Its breakthrough came through “Possum Kingdom,” which helped push the album to platinum status in the U.S.

“Possum Kingdom” pairs an off-kilter riff with a dark narrative, while “Backslider” and “I Come From the Water” show the band’s wiry, hard-edged approach to ’90s alternative rock. The album closes with the slow-burning “I Burn.” This edition is presented on CD.
