Description
2014 remastered reissue of his 1974 fifth studio album with two bonus tracks. Guest musicians include Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Robben Ford, Alvin Lee, Klaus Voorman, Tom Scott & the L.A. Express, Billy Preston, Willie Weeks, Andy Newmark, Jim Keltner, Gary Wright, Ronnie Wood & many more. Two hit singles were released from this album "Dark Horse" & his New Year's song "Ding Dong, Ding Dong". The album was produced by George & was recorded at A&M Studios in L.A. & his home studio Friar Park Studio Henley- On- Thames. It was hurriedly recorded during rehearsals for his upcoming USA tour & George developed a case of laryngitis which obviously contributed to his strained vocal sound on the album.
