All for You is Janet Jackson’s seventh studio album, released in 2001 following the more introspective The Velvet Rope. Created during a period of renewed optimism in her personal life, it leans into bright, sample-driven pop and R&B while maintaining the layered, interlude-heavy structure that defines her catalog.
The title track “All for You” became one of her signature singles, built around a loop from Change’s “The Glow of Love,” while “Someone to Call My Lover” flips America’s “Ventura Highway” into a breezy, melodic standout.
