The Idiot 1LP

Sorry Sold Out

Description

The Idiot sets Iggy Pop's baritone against cold, mechanical grooves and murky synthesizer textures, a marked turn from the raw attack of his Stooges years. Written and recorded with David Bowie, it moves through the languid crawl of "Nightclubbing," the lurching strut of "Funtime," and the grinding sprawl of "Mass Production." The mood favors dread and atmosphere over straightforward punk momentum.
