After a successful start with the hip-hop anthem “Hey, Mr. D.J.,” Renée Neufville and Jean Norris, better known as Zhané, released their debut album ‘Pronounced Nah-Nay’ on Motown Records in 1994. The album went Gold by the end of the year and spawned two other major hits—“Groove Thang” and “Sending My Love.” In honors of its 25th anniversary, UMe/Urban Legends and Motown Records are re-issuing Zhané’s debut album on standard and orange color vinyl.
