This inaugural series includes designer Paul Bacon’s cover for the original 10” release of iconic pianist Thelonious Monk’s Genius of Modern Music: Vol. 2. Released in 1952, it featured Monk’s earliest recordings as a leader which introduced some of his indelible tunes such as “Straight No Chaser” to the world.
